This Just In: Sara Palin. Complete. Fucking. Imbecile.

Let's roll the tape:

Seriously. If you can get wrecked in an interview by Katie Couric, you're beyond salvageable. This woman couldn't find her ass with both hands. But hey! She likes to shoot at wolves from a helicopter, so she must be . . . well, she must . . . aw screw it. She's a typical conservative dolt.

Okay, so I'm trying to type this while dribbling liquified gray matter back into my ear, hoping that it will recongeal in November. That "Playah Hater" Palin replies with the same response verbatim for two different questions nearly gave me a stroke, and her feeble attempts at changing the topic ("But McCain was also the original Maverick") nearly broke my legs with the blunt force of their idiocy.

As someone who has struck out in a softball game I say this reluctantly.
How does one miss every softball thrown at you? These questions sounded like ones pre-approved by the campaign. Grr. Stupid people shooting themselves in the stupid Prada-wearing foot.

Ow, that was painful. If Joe Biden can't rip her a fresh one in the debates, then he ought to take the train back to Delaware and stay there.

OMG. I just saw another 1:28 min. of the Katie Couric interview with Sarah Palin. All I can say is "Holy Shit"! Here is a little taste of the transcript:

COURIC: Have you ever been involved with any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?

PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth. We-- we do-- it's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where-- where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is-- from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to-- to our state.

The dashes don't really capture the power of the stuttering as she grasps for words to explain how the Russians are going to invade Alaska, and that because she is governor of Alaska, she has foreign policy experience. Listening to the interview, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. But Obama should just take 30 second excerpts from this interview and air them as commericals, both as a way to evaluate Palin, and to question John McCain's "judgment".

I don't think the woman is truly stupid, but the crash course in foreign policy (which she clearly could give 3 shits about) is not working.

Unreal!

The very idea that Palin is at all ready to sit in the co-pilot seat for the next 4 years is lunacy. The possibility of her taking the steering wheel should the 72 year old McCain have any medical troubles is enough to cause the puckering of the nations A-holes. The VP candidate debates should be interesting...and for all purposes should seal the fate of the McCain campaign. Oh yeah that's right..this country re-elected Bush so we could be in trouble.

Holy Crap, did Katie Couric slip her some Ruffies before this interview.

Watch this blatant piece of garbage. Its one minute of video that makes my head spin for 5 minutes.

I used to fear Sarah Palin because she was a right wing loony. This interview really does show her to be barely literate. She can't string together two competent sentences without a pile of double talk and stuttering in the middle.

I give Katie Couric A LOT of credit for keeping a straight face during this interview. I would have called bullshit after the first 3 minutes. But she must have realized that Palin was hanging herself during the entire interview. W sounds a lot smarter than this, and I never thought I would say that in regard to another nationally recognized politician. But there it is.

My brain can not process this situation. I can't get my head around people even considering voting for McCain, given the obvious failures of forty years of Republican control. I don't understand how McCain's incoherence isn't obvious to more people. And I don't know how McCain/Palin have double-digit support in the polls, let alone near equal to Obama/Biden.

It's incomprehensible. And that bit of video you linked, Dave, just about broke my brain.
