Public Service Announcement

Attention, Tenth Dimensional Drifter.

Your blog seems to be set to send comments to moderation, and you must not have done that on purpose, because you haven't noticed the comment I left a while ago that is in moderation. I'd post this as a comment on your blog, but . . . well . . . you know.

In other news: President Barack Hussein Obama.

I am a happy man.

Again I say....not to be a nervous Nelly. He is up against incredible odds. While my hope is that his policies will pull the country from the worry is that he may be to far left. We need someone in the sweet spot. I hope Obama is that man.

I think people will be surprised at how centrist Obama's policies really are. The McCain campaign tried to paint him as a hard-left radical, but as far as Democrats go he's pretty far right. He opposes same-sex marriage, he voted for FISA, he supports global military action.

Here's where it looks like I shift gears. I've been in the tank for Obama for a couple of years because he's the closest thing to my ideal candidate that was available--but the truth is that he's pretty far away from my ideal candidate, even if he's the closest. So while I'm thrilled he won, from this point on I'm liable to be extremely critical of him.

Such is life, I guess.
